… Incessant rain and we arrive in a deserted Utrecht, without umbrellas and without a map …
… To search in vain for one hour our hotel totally soaked …
… The hotel was right before our eyes!
Starts in this way my Dutch tour starting from Utrecht. A very nice city, very quiet and characteristic.
I would like to list some of the peculiarities I have noticed in this city:
– The real must-have here is the bicycle, which is used as the main means of transport by all of the inhabitants. NO BICYCLES, NO UTRECHT!
– There are many bars.
– The Dutch do not respect any "dress code" according to the season they live: I saw three people dressed in a completely different between them, a person wore the Ugg, one wore flats and another one with flip-flops, then I saw people with coats and jackets, and others with t-shirt … What a strange!
– The hours of the shops are very different from our Italian: they open at 12.00 and they close at 18.00!
– To avoid Sunday because the city is completely deserted and everything is closed …
– There are no cars on the road and for this reason there is an enviable peace :)
… Pioggia incessante e noi che arriviamo in un Utrecht deserta, sprovvisti di ombrelli e cartina …
… Cercare invano per un’ ora il nostro albergo completamente zuppi …
… L’ albergo era proprio sotto i nostri occhi!
Inizia ufficialmente il mio tour olandese partendo da Utrecht. Una città molto bella, tranquilla, silenziosa e davvero caratteristica.
Vorrei elencarvi alcune delle particolarità che ho avuto modo di notare in questa città:
– Il vero must have qui è la bicicletta, che viene utilizzata come mezzo di spostamento principale da tutti quanti gli abitanti. NO BICI, NO UTRECHT!
– Ci sono davvero moltissimi bar.
– Gli olandesi non rispettano alcun "codice di abbigliamento" secondo la stagione in cui si trovano: mi sono ritrovata davanti ad una situazione in cui tre persone vestivano in modo completamente diverso tra loro, una persona indossava gli Ugg, una portava le ballerine e un’ altra le infradito, così come si può vedere persone con piumini e cappotti, e altri in maglietta a mezza manica … Che stranezza!
– Gli orari dei negozi sono molto diversi dai nostri italiani: aprono alle 12.00 e chiudono alle 18.00!
– Evitate la domenica perchè la città è completamente deserta ed è tutto quanto chiuso…
– Non vi sono macchine per strada e per questo motivo vi è una quiete invidiabile :)
