I like very much wearing Panama hats in summer both at seaside and in town… Here I’m ready for shopping after a sunny day with R. in Punta Ala’s Port! ;-)
A curiosity: “ Panama ” take the name by homonimus city, located in Central America, where here were produced the first hats. The panama is hand woven with fibres of dwarf plant.

Una cosa che mi piace molto indossare sono i cappelli panama in estate, sia al mare che in città. In queste foto sto per andare a fare shopping dopo una giornata al mare con R. nel porto di Punta Ala! ;-)
Una curiosità: “ Panama ” prende il nome dall’ omonima città, situata in America Centrale, dove qui vennero prodotti i primi cappelli. Il panama è intrecciato a mano con fibre di una palma nana.
Il Presidente, Theodore Roosevelt indossò il panama durante l’ inaugurazione del Canale di Suez. Le foto fecero il giro del mondo e così il cappello incrementò la sua notorietà.
