24.01.2013 - FIESTA DAY – NEW FORD FIESTA

As I told you in the post this morning, Thursday, I took part in the presentation of the new Ford Fiesta.
When you arrive at Termini we headed to Fordstore in via GG Ghizzi and after a short light lunch we had the pleasure through the Tech Drive, to discover and test new technologies on the car.

In the afternoon, after a brief stop at the hotel, we headed to the Ice Palace "Sottozero" where for the first time I tried to skate on the ice! At the beginning I was dying of fright, but after a little practice I was able to get familiar with the ice skates and in the end I “almost” enjoyed it!
Later we attended the presentation of the new Ford Fiesta, which was accompanied by a breathtaking show of professional skaters.

Come vi avevo anticipato nel post di questa mattina, giovedì ho preso parte alla presentazione della nuova Ford Fiesta.
Appena arrivati a Roma Termini ci siamo diretti al Fordstore in via G.G. Ghizzi e dopo un breve light lunch abbiamo avuto il piacere, attraverso il Tech Drive, di scoprire e testare le nuove tecnologie presenti sulla vettura.
Tra mille risate e ansie da prestazioni, ho testato l’auto che parcheggia da sola: una vera e propria rivoluzione nel campo dell' azienda automobilistica che mi ha lasciata letteralmente a bocca aperta … assolutamente una grandissima ed utilissima invenzione soprattutto per le imbranate come me nel fare i parcheggi!!! 
Successivamente ho provato l' auto che frena automaticamente di fronte ad un ostacolo con lo scopo di eliminare i classici tamponamenti a basse velocità (l'Active City Stop), per poi testare la telecamera di retromarcia ed infine l’assistenza per la partenza in salita che impedisce al veicolo di arretrare nelle partenze in salita.
Nel pomeriggio, dopo una breve sosta in hotel, ci siamo diretti al Palaghiaccio "Sottozero" dove per la prima volta ho provato a pattinare sul ghiaccio! All' inizio morivo di paura, ma dopo un po' di prove sono riuscita a prendere dimestichezza con i pattini e alla fine mi sono "quasi" divertita!
Più tardi abbiamo assistito alla presentazione della nuova Ford Fiesta, che è stata accompagnata ad uno spettacolo mozzafiato di pattinatori professionisti.
