MY FANTABULOUS WORLD MEETS IRENE’S CLOSET

 Tuesday I had the great pleasure of meeting the lovely Irene Colzi of IRENE’ S CLOSET for a project that we will speak you very soon and which you will join: D
We had a chance to see up close the creation of a HAT PANIZZA in its factory that since 1898 in charge of producing high quality hats.

Martedì ho avuto il grandissimo piacere di incontrare la dolcissima Irene Colzi di IRENE’ S CLOSET  per un progetto di cui molto presto vi parleremo e del quale voi farete parte. :D
Abbiamo avuto la possibilità di vedere da vicino la creazione di un CAPPELLO PANIZZA nella sua fabbrica che dal 1898 si occupa di produrre cappelli di ottima qualità.

STEP N°1: Initially the shape of the hat that will produce heats …
FASE N°1: Inizialmente si scalda la forma del cappello che si andrà poi a produrre …

 STEP N°2: … This is the shape of the hat to his birth, which il will be submitted to the warmth of glowing press …
FASE N°2: … Questa è la forma del cappello alla sua nascita, che dopo essere stata umidita e lasciata per 12 ore all’interno di grandi sacchi di plastica per inumideire il feltro viene sottoposta al calore della pressa …

STEP N°3: … The hat is subjected to real attempts on the press until it beings to come alive …
FASE N°3: … Il cappello viene pressato per circa un minuto a 120°C  finchè non inizia a prenderà la forma desiderata …

STEP N°5: … Then you sew the edge of the hat …
FASE N°5: … Poi si cuce il bordo del cappello …

STEP N°6: … With an stamp you print the logo and the brand hat …
FASE N°6: … Con un macchinario apposito viene stampato il logo e la marca del cappello …

STEP N°7: … The next step is to sew the label and the size of the hat …
FASE N°7: … Il successivo passaggio è quello di cucire l’ etichetta con la misura del cappello e un bordino interno …

STEP N°8: … Then you sew the edge …
FASE N°8: … Poi si cuce fa fascietta …

STEP N°9: … After the hat is subjected to steam, but they should spend 12 hours before doing this step, but we have speeded up the times …
FASE N°9: … In seguito il cappello viene sottoposto al vapore, anche se dovrebbe trascorre circa 12 ore prima di fare questo passaggio, ma noi abbiamo velocizzato i tempi …

STEP N° 10: …Further final press for to ensure that the hat does not change its shape and gives the hat its final form

FASE N°10: … Ulteriore pressa finale per garantire che il cappello non alteri mai più la sua forma e dona al cappello la sua forma definitiva …

STEP N°11: … Still a bit of steam …
FASE N°11: … Ancora un pò di vapore, una bella spazzolata …

And the hat is ready!
E  il cappello è pronto!
